With 345 - 350 days of sun, and just 15 - 20 days of rain each
year, it feels like endless summer. The desert climate is near perfect. Days are sunny and warm; evenings delightfully balmy. We have nice dry, low humidity

Remember,
when it's hot, The Terra Cotta Inn has plenty of shade
and our wonderful ultra fine high pressure misting/outdoor
cooling system makes us Palm Springs most popular
resort in the summertime. Often we are one of the few
resorts that are actually busy during the middle
of the week. As a result, our summer occupancy
has been the second highest of any hotel in Palm Springs
for the last two years. And when it's cool, there's
nothing more romantic than sitting by our fire pit
or in our enormous Jacuzzi.
Current Weather:
We use www.weather.com for our forecasts.
Unfortunately, Palm Springs does not have a National
Weather Service office, so our 5 day weather forecast
is really Los Angeles weather and is USUALLY WRONG!
We are the sunniest city in the United States, but usually
our forecast says clouds because as one weather man
told us if you predict clouds and it is sunny,
everybody likes you. If you predict sun and on
that rare day you get some clouds. people complain
to your television station."
Always feel free to call us at 800-786-6938 for the
current weather.
